Date: 0000-00-00 00:00:00 What really lets this place down is that they still have not got there act together! i return there porbarbly every 4 months hoping the service will have improved, well it does not. Its very slow even when you are only one of a few in there! avoid sunday lunch unless you have all day to spare because you will be in for a long wait. They could at least serve drinks to keep you occupied. If you get the food though it is good full marks to the chef. |

Date: 0000-00-00 00:00:00 Well what can be said hmm, if the staff were any slower then I would expect some of George A Rameros lurching zombies to serve me, it took aeons for a waitress as they always say take a seat, Lager was so warm you need ice cubes for it and the food which was cold by the time it turned up, was also without cutlery (dear God) another age for cutlery, and to top it off paying took forever and getting change back from payment took so long that I'am thirsty for a pint! Not here though. |

No one comes to see if you would like a desert (choice of 1 ) Half menu crossed off, staff not bothered whether we came back or not ?? Its a shame as the food was nice but would not go back after such poor service. I suggest you go elsewhere, where they care if you return or not !! |

Date: 2009-05-08 11:42:15 We hadn't been to Terraces before but came across it last weekend in the sunshine while walking along Madiera Drive. We initially went in for an afternoon glass of wine but ended up staying for dinner since we didn't want to leave our table and the beautiful setting overlooking the pier (great people watching!). The staff were particularly friendly and we were a bit boring and went for the traditional fish and chips which was excellent. Overall a great place, amazing setting, buzzing, fun and the food and bottle of wine we consumed was excellent. Will be back! |
