A truly wonderful restaurant. The food was of the highest quality, and when this is combined with the excellent attitude of the staff and the generally good atmosphere, one is promised a treat.

Fast becoming one of my favourite restaurants in the City - fantastic food - the pok belly is to die for and the chocolate pudding selection is devine - good wine and the service is friendly and efficient. Cannot find fault with the place.

Some really very good food - veal with lentils, rabbit pasties and well-meaning service, but undermined by highly ambitious pricing (particularly on wine)and pudding that tasted as if they'd been bought in.

I've eaten here twice, once just with my wife and once in a group of about ten. The first occasion was great - we were really looked after, the food was adventurous and delicious (if very expensive) and the service was spot on. When we were in the bigger group the waiting times were ridiculous and the service was perfunctory even if the quality of the food was just as good. If it was a bit cheaper I'd love to keep coming back to work out which of these experiences was typical, but they're nowhere near cheap enough to take the risk, so I don't think I will.

I liked this place, although we did have to go to a pub to wait because our table wasn't ready. They do very good cocktails and it's not horrendously expensive, though it is expensive. Only downside is having to walk through the bottom of St James Street to get there. The Street is a little glimpse of what life might be like after plague strikes and the forces of law and order fail.

Excellent food, Belly of Pork was absolutely delicious, as was the confit duck. The service was great, our member of staff was attentive but not too much so, overall a fabulous meal!

The food was nice but most of the ingrediants used were cheap and you can have a lot nicer for less money in Brighton. ie La Fourchette. Also the service was very slow. We waited over half an hour for the main course and another couple looked like they were about to walk out.
