We found this place after finding out that Cactus had shut down! Went for a set menu, great value and really good food. Check out the queso fundido to start, sounds extreme but is really nice. They do tapas as well I think, haven't tried it yet though.

Melted Cheese Good. Small Portions of everything I chose, bad. All my friends seemed to enjoy it though.

I recently ate here and would certainly go back. The food was excellent and well presented too. I shared some nachos with another person and had the Tacos De Camaron for my main, which is tortilla stuffed with tuna, king prawns, onion and corrianda. Combined with the nachos I shared I was easily full so would say the portions are just right. Most main courses were around the £10-12 mark which I think was fair considering the quality. I look forward to my next meal there. It can be a bit difficult to find though - I walked past it twice!!!

Really good proper mexican food here. Portion sizes were really big and they had the nicest homemade salsa. They serve traditional food that you don't generally find in mexican reataurants which is really good!

This restaurant was appalling. I have never met such rude staff and had such bad service. We booked a table for 9.20pm as they were full before then. When we arrived we sat down and as it was so cold inside we left our coats on. After about 10 minutes eventually our order was taken. Starter was good. Then, after repeated asking, our main course eventually arrived at 10.45pm WAY TOO LATE. There was no apology. One of the dishes was still frozen in the middle (meatballs). The table next to us had complained that their food was burnt and they had it replaced. The staff then was trying to insist they paid for the original meal and the replacement. Appalling attitude, appalling service. Never again.

Los Amigos in Hove knocks spots off this place! ....This restaurant - very average food - dreary decor - the staff look as though they all want to go home!
