Date: 0000-00-00 00:00:00 went here on a date once, absolutely perfect, would have given it 10/10. more recently went with a group of 5 and were squashed onto a table for 4, despite actually requesting a bigger table - with fajitas etc you need space for all the bowls- but were told we'd 'be fine where we were'. we werent. also one of us has a wheat allergy and the very unhelpful and impatient as she asked what would be suitable. she had a bad reaction despite being assured there was no wheat in the meal she had ordered. and the rest of our meals were lacking in flavour. basically this place is really hit and miss, both in regards to staff and the food. |

Lost the order and when the food came not one of our party could say good things about it. Not a good experience at all. Stay away in the afternoons. We were the only people in there. |

Date: 2006-09-15 19:45:38 Went there on a Thursday afternoon just after the lunch rush and was greeted by a freindly waiter/barman. I chose the 1/2 and 1/2 which was ribs and hot chicken wings with potato wedges (good!), coleslaw and a pitiful excuse for a salad garnish. The hot chicken wings were nice and spicy (as you'd expect) and the ribs were OK apart from the bland and salty BBQ sauce, which you would expect them to get right as they are a rib house (hence the low score forquality of food). The coleslaw was thick and plasticy and i was left still feeling a little hungry. Overall it was OK but if you really want Ribs go to Bodeans in Soho (very very tasty!!!) |

It is dissapointing that with so many good restaurants in Brighton that Dig in The Ribs still feel it fine to serve poor quality food at silly prices. There are certainly far better restaurants serving ribs and burgers in Brighton - dont waste your money here |

After the second complaint a hot one arrived but 5 hours after escaping I came down with serious food poisoning and was off work for 3 days because of it. Only other food I'd had that day and the day prior had been shared with others. Where did the food poisoning come from? You decide. Restaurant itself is dingy, grubby, overpriced at best. Even before I suspected them of poisoning me I decided I would never go back. |

The place was empty and yet the staff had to be coaxed away from their private conversations to serve and had no idea of the menu - When I poinyed out that my main meal was without the stipulated cheese, guacamole and sour cream (half of its ingredients) I was informed that they were in the process of changing the menu and that they had decided not to put any on that salad any more!!! I then endured a salad of mostly lettuce, two slices of tomato, one mushroom and four olives for the princely sum of £8! My partner's burrito was no better, a small portion, which looked like it was plated up and sat on the side a long time before it was served. Worst restaurant that I have been to in Brighton - Will never go back. |

Having been there in the past and always had fun, great service and reasonably priced food we could not believe how much this place has changed. The service was diabolical, the food was bland, tasteless and unappetising. The portions were smaller than they used to be and prices had been increased but did not reflect any increase in quality – in fact more expensive and poorer quality. There are so many great places to eat in Brighton – so save your money and pick any where but this place – it was truly AWFUL in every aspect. |

Food was pathetic ; deep fried chilli's filled with cream cheese £5+ = deep fried cheddar with green flecks , looked and tasted as though they came from a well known nordic country ! RIBS dry tough tasteless could go on but it is depressing . No one who ever visited the old DITR will ever go again . i guess it must of changed hands and this place is trading on its previous good name . it will not be trading for long and the sooner the better , it really was the a shocker . Could go on but it's depressing only glad no one is ill this morning !! . Felt a bit sorry for the staff they were clueless but if all you do is serve up garbage and listen to complaints i imagine my motivation may well be lacking . AVOID at all costs ENTER at your own risk you have be warned . |

My family have been going here years and had heard the restaurant was under new management as previous owner died in an accident. Well what a turn around from a respected restaurant to total RUBBISH.Never again shall any of my family and friends will walk through them doors under the new management. There are obvious signs of lowering the cost in making the food as quality and portions are none existent.|There is nothing traditional on the menu and they have the cheek to put the prices up.The menu is still the old ones with tacky stickers over prices and written over top.They used to have the logo on the napkins on table but now thats gone, obviously another cut back.The traditional barbecue sauce is now aload of cold tomato mush, another cut back failure.I could go on for ages but I wont, all I can say is 'save your time and money and DONT GO HERE!' |

The food was awful and cold in the middle and had to be sent back - all they did was microwave it and give it back! The restaurant felt grimy and unhygenic - needs a good scubbing down! God only knows what the kitchen is like - think we got away with an episode of food poisoning because we both have strong constitutions!!! YUK! |

My ribs looked and tasted if they had been deep fried. Our table was totally dissatisfied with the meal. We shall never come back here ever again. DREADFUL PLACE. |
