Date: 2006-10-06 14:21:57 buffet island is a friendly welcoming restaurant. the food is well presented and there are plenty of staff on hand to help.we took our son who is 1 with us and they were able to provide a highchair and made him feel very welcome too.we will definitely be returning here and will be recommending it to friends. |

Keen and pleasant staff (though not excellent english) Lots of choice (6pm-7pm best choice) The choice to have the buffet or a fresh dish made before your eyes - as much icecream as you can eat for dessert! Great for kids, groups, casual dinner date |

Date: 2006-10-24 14:37:28 Well, it's a buffet restaurant, so you can't really expect astonishing regional chinese cuisine....What you do get is plenty of choice (although there's predictably lots of stuff in batter with syrupy stuff on top), and very sweet staff. An excellent place to take kids also. |

Date: 2006-11-07 20:31:55 Usually the service at Buffet Island is good but of late they are too busy and seem to focus less on customer care. On our last visit we did not feel that we were treated with the respect that we deserved. However, the food is delicious, with lots of choice. They are also very clean. |

Date: 2007-02-14 21:37:05 really really good. don't expect amazing gormet etc etc, but as far as buffets go this is good. amazing selection, fresh, hot, tastes great, and they've got that guy you take your raw stuff to to be cooked up. went in a big group of 20 of us and had a great time. recomended!!! |

Date: 2007-11-11 11:34:40 Good selection of Asian buffet food plus they have a selection of raw imgredients for you to choose, they then stir fry these in front of you. The food is a perfect hangover cure! |

Date: 2007-12-31 08:51:16 Used Buffet Island as very local and my seven year old likes it. Food just about alright, traditional Chinese takeaway type. Nothing of much quality. Had trouble with manager twice who I found quite rude and offensive and complained about my very well behaved daughter. Quite out of order and spoilt the rather poor quality meal. Pity will have to find somewhere else. |

Date: 2009-05-10 12:33:48 In the last three years, We have used this restaurant for most of our staff night out.great deals!!!there is a long table that can hold up to 25 people so its great to have all staff in one table.friendly restaurant staff and fresh food.we will definitely continue to use this restaurant.they also take photos of the groups for their wall, its lovely. |
